KARAKILÇIK WHEAT CULTIVATION CONTINUES
Bodrum Municipality’s Agricultural Services Directorate is cultivating Karakılçık wheat on municipal agricultural land in Karaova.
The work aims to ensure the sustainable production of Karakılçık, a traditional heirloom grain variety that has been preserved without genetic modification. As part of the programme, the Municipality also provides free seed support to local farmers to encourage continued cultivation of the variety.
