Since 2019 Our Fight Against Unauthorized Construction Has Been Continuing In District
As part of the campaign against illegal construction, Bodrum Municipality diligently carries out identification, reporting of offenses, sealing procedures, monetary fines and demolition resolutions.
9 structures were demolished in December 2023, for 88 buildings carried out demolition decisions and 71 ongoing constructions were saled.Furthermore, In the month of December, monetary fines in total 107.818,788 Turkish Lira were imposed in accordance with relevant legal regulations
Ongoing efforts for 2023 include demolition decisions for a total of 575 constructions, 140 buildings having demolition decisions carried out, 2,421 ongoing constructions were halted.
From 2019 to today commencing the struggle against illegal construction 989 structures were demolished , 6,961 buildings were sealed and 2,860 cases have been incorporated into the demolition programme by teams under the jurisdiction of Bodrum Municipality's Building Control Directorate.
