Bodrum Municipality Pays Tribute to Former Municipal Police Officers During Zabıta Week

Bodrum Municipality marked Zabıta Week (1–7 September) with remembrance visits honouring municipal police officers who served the city and have passed away. The programme was carried out by Field Solutions teams under the Directorate of Media and Public Relations.
As part of the initiative, municipal teams visited the families of former officers in their homes, expressing respect, gratitude and remembrance on behalf of the municipality. Officials said the visits were intended to acknowledge the long years of service given by municipal police personnel and to maintain strong bonds with their families.
The municipality underlined that remembering former employees and recognising their contributions is an important part of institutional responsibility. Bodrum Municipality stated that similar initiatives will continue as part of its commitment to preserving organisational memory and honouring public service.
