SEABED CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN COMPLETES ITS NINTH STAGE THIS YEAR AT TÜRKBÜKÜ

As part of Bodrum Municipality’s seabed-cleaning programme, which has been running for eleven years, the ninth stage of this year’s campaign was carried out on Türkbükü beach.
Organised under the slogan “Blue Suits the Sea Best”, the event saw the volunteer diving team remove 98 kg of waste from the sea. The recovered items were displayed at Türkbükü Public Beach to raise awareness, before being transported to the 1st Class Waste Drop-off Centre in Konacık for recycling.
