SEABED CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN HOLDS ITS FOURTH STAGE THIS YEAR AT YAHŞİ BEACH

The fourth stage of the traditional seabed-cleaning programme, carried out under the slogan “Blue Suits the Sea Best”, took place at Yahşi Beach.
A total of 241 kg of waste was recovered from the sea through the dedicated work of a volunteer diving team made up of municipal staff. To raise awareness, the recovered items were displayed on Yahşi Beach, before being transported to the Class 1 Waste Drop-off Centre in Konacık Neighbourhood for recycling.
