FROM STREETS TO SHORES: MASSIVE CLEANUP EFFORT CONTINUES IN MUMCULAR



Bodrum Municipality Teams carried out an extensive cleaning operation throughout the Mumcular District as part of the ongoing cleaning campaign.

The clean-up initiative, launched under the directive of Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, was carried out extensively in Mumcular Neighborhood with 70 personnel and 12 vehicles from various municipal departments.

"Coordinated by the municipality's Cleaning Services Directorate, the operation was attended by Directorate of Support Services, Municipal Police, Cultural & Social Affairs, Civil Works, Veterinary Affairs, Agricultural Services, Planning & Projects, as well as Gölbaşı Neighborhood Head Toprak Bakar and Karaova Neighborhood Head Muhammet Karademir."

The operation included weed and waste removal, pruning of trees and shrubs overhanging roads. The teams  affiliated with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality also realized cleaning work their areas of  responsibility. During the cleanup effort, 3,485 kilograms of waste were collected and transported to the Bodrum Municipality's First-Class Waste Collection Center."

The clean-up campaign will continue in other neighborhoods as planned.
