BIOR 2023 IS STARTING
SAILING TIME IN BODRUM
The 12th Bodrum International Optimist Races (BIOR), organized by Bodrum Municipality and Bodrumspor Club Sailing Branch, will take place from October 10th to October 15th, 2023.
BIOR will kick off with a parade walk from Bodrum Marina to Bodrum Municipality Square on Tuesday, October 10th, at 18:00. The races will officially start on Wednesday, October 11th, at 11:00. The races will continue on the İçmeler/Bodrum course for 5 days, concluding with an award ceremony on Sunday, October 15th.
So far, 539 athletes from 51 clubs representing 7 countries have registered for the races, which are organized under the patronage of Bodrum Municipality in collaboration with the Turkish Sailing Federation.
Erkçelik Halat is the name sponsor of BIOR 2023 and the event is supported by Menteşe Som Olive Oils, Lapina Catering, Hasçelik, Demiryaka, Süperpar, and Şirin İzolasyon Companies.
