Being the daughter of a family from Bodrum, İlknur ÜLKÜM SEFEROĞLU was born in Izmir in 1976.

She is a graduate of Nazilli Anatolian High School and Dokuz Eylul University ‘Faculty of Law’.

In the local elections held on March 31, 2019, she was elected as a member of the Bodrum Municipality Council & Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Council.

Having been working as a self-employed lawyer and mediator registered in Muğla Bar in Bodrum, ÜLKÜM SEFEROĞLU was appointed on duty as the Deputy Mayor of Bodrum Municipality on 06.09.2021.

She served as a member of the ‘District Election Board’ representing the Republican People's Party (CHP).

She served as a member of the ‘Bodrum Chamber of Commerce - Young Entrepreneurs Advisory Committee’.

She is married and mother of two.ÜLKÜM SEFEROĞLU speaks excellent English.
